My instructor says I’m not ready – what should I do?

Do not cancel your test!

Provided that you give the DVSA 3 clear working days notice you can change your appointment without loss of test fee at Sundays and Public Holidays do not count as working days.

If the last day to cancel is still some way off you can log in to your account and change the ‘Not Before’ and ‘Not After’ date preferences. See FAQ ‘Can you find a test after the booked test?’ for more detail.

As soon as we detect a change to your test appointment we will stop searching and send you an email.

If you want us to keep looking for an earlier test just log in and reactivate the search.
